An ISOQUICK slab in Witney, Oxfordshire
A recent ISOQUICK slab install completed in Witney, Oxfordshire.
The wider than normal edge section was provided to line up with the EcoCocon
straw-filled timber frame that will be erected to form the structure of the building.

An ISOQUICK basement near Edinburgh
A recent project completed just south of Edinburgh for MJS Construction.
Shown in this picture is the upper slab of ISOQUICK laid up against a basement, the ISOQUICK slab of which was laid before Christmas.
Once the concrete is laid it will create the basement ceiling.

A School in Dorset
A small Isoquick install at Beaucroft School in Wimborne Dorset. After a cold start is was an otherwise straight forward install all complete by lunchtime.

UK Passivhaus Conference 2022
On 25th and 26th October, the ISOQUICK® team were at the UK Passivhaus Conference 2022 in Exeter.
It was fantastic to meet so many people interested in the ISOQUICK® system and we thank the Passivhaus Trust team for hosting another brilliant conference.

A 225m2 base for a new ICF home in Somerset
On Saturday, the team were on site for an install near Wincanton in Somerset. A 225m2 ISOQUICK® base was installed to form the foundation of a new ICF build.
As you can see, it was a beautiful day for it and we wish the build team the best of luck with the next stages.

A repeat customer in the Herefordshire Countryside
Last week, we returned to Scotland to oversee the installation of ISOQUICK® for a project in Perth.
Now that the insulating foundation is down, the walls will be built using the ‘EcoCocoon’ system which is a timber frame system free-filled with straw to provide insulation.

A Repeat Customer in St Albans
Another successful ISOQUICK® install - completed in a morning and all done by lunchtime.
This is the second of three slabs for our customer in St Albans. It’s always a pleasure to work with this customer. The sites are well prepared and the team are great.
April 2022 A Passivhaus School in Carmarthenshire, Wales
Last week the team were on-site at Pembrey School in Wales to install an ISOQUICK® slab for their new state-of-the-art primary school.
The project is being run by TRJ Construction Ltd, as part of Carmarthen schools programme of Passivhaus schools.
This photo is of the solar powered battery charger we took with us, using it to top up the battery that powers the hot wire cutter we use to ensure neat and clean cuts when installing ISOQUICK®.
ISOQUICK® is designed to be sustainable from start to finish and that includes installation.

A Passivhaus School in Hampshire
Yesterday we were at St Edwards School in Romsey, Hampshire to oversee the install of an ISOQUICK® base for a new Passivhaus school building.
Once complete, the new 631sq m. teaching block will include six classrooms, group learning areas and a sensory room will also be given net zero certification.

Up to Edinburgh - Mountskip
Another ISOQUICK® install complete for a home in Mountskip in the South East of Edinburgh.
The client went for a thick 400mm of ISOQUICK® so warm toes should be guaranteed all year round.
Thanks to Jonathon Hines of Architype for bringing us in on the project. It was also great to work with Broatch Construction who prepared the site and installed the base. This is the second project we have worked with them on and were again impressed by their professional and happy team.

Up to Scotland - Tobermory, Isle of Mull
Earlier this month, the team oversaw the installation of an ISOQUICK® base on the Isle of Mull in the Inner Hebrides. The architect, Will Thorne of Thorne Wyness Architects, used a stepped design to take advantage of this stunning view.
Having used competitors’ products for other projects, Will chose ISOQUICK® for his own and was impressed with our system and the product quality.

Over to the Lake District - Cumbria
It's not every day that site visits are this beaufitul.
Today the team oversaw the install of a new ISOQUICK® base on a site that overlooks Ullswater in the Lake District.
January 2021 Down to Cornwall - Falmouth
The Isoquick team went down to Falmouth in Cornwall for a small project to install ISOQUICK® for On-Site Framing.
The site was over two levels with a 350mm high step running across the site. Job complete in one day!

Gorslas - Passivhaus School
Following on from our install in Kidwelly, we returned to Wales a week later to join Lloyd & Gravell on the site of a second Passivhaus school in Gorslas, also part of Carmarthenshire county council’s school investment programme.
We installed 120m2 of ISOQUICK®.

Kidwelly - Passivhaus School
The installation of ISOQUICK® at this new Passivhaus school is complete!
The 1200m2 ISOQUICK® base was laid as part of the foundation for the new school near Kidwelly in Wales, under Carmarthenshire County council's school investment programme. Our General Manager spent last week on site with the construction company, Lloyd & Gravell, overseeing the installation and ensuring everything went smoothly.
This is the first of two schools for Lloyd & Gravell and we look forward to working with them again on the next one.

Cnoc Soilleir - Passivhaus Music School
As works being to restart after the Covid-19 lockdown, on Friday 10th July 2020 we visited a site on the island of South Uist in Scotland where, working with the team from MacInnes Bros, we installed an ISOQUICK® base for a new music school, Cnoc Soilleir.
Designed by John Renshaw Architects, the music school is being built to meet Passivhaus standards - a first for the Western Isles of Scotland.
When complete, it will contain a state-of-the-art auditorium, recording facilities, teaching rooms, and an accessible archive and library.
Eco-Connect Wales
Eco Connect Wales is the first in a series of Eco Connect Roadshows being organised by Osmosis and the AECB around the UK.
The one-day conference and exhibition will take place in Swansea University’s Great Hall on 29th June 2017. The conference will focus on how to deliver more homes fit for a sustainable future, through both new build and retrofit. Attendees at the conference will hear from speakers who are working at the highest levels of social housing, retrofit and sustainability to name a few areas.
The event is comprised of a business breakfast and networking session, a conference focussed on raising the quantity and quality of retrofit and new build in Wales, a curated exhibition, the option of Eco Connect meetings with potential business leads, and site tours to the Specific Active Classroom and University of Swansea construction sites.
